Hawker Beechcraft, Inc. is a Wichita, Kansas-based aircraft manufacturer that designs, builds, and supports business jets, turboprops, piston aircraft, special-mission platforms, and military trainer/attack aircraft under the Hawker and Beechcraft brands. The company employed about 5,420 people and supported a global fleet of more than 34,000 aircraft through 10 company-owned service centers and more than 100 authorized centers in over 30 countries. Its Hawker and Beechcraft lines were acquired from Raytheon in 2007 by affiliates of GS Capital and Onex.
