Liquidation plan goes effective and starts claims deadlines
Vision2Systems’ confirmed liquidation plan became effective on February 9, moving the case from confirmation into plan administration. The debtor’s notice says the court entered the confirmation order on January 23 for the Second Amended Plan of Liquidation, and that effectiveness now starts two key post-confirmation deadlines: administrative expense claims are due March 11, 2026, and final professional fee applications are due June 9, 2026 Notice of Confirmation and Effective Date.
The practical point is that recoveries and wind-down economics now depend on the post-effective-date claims cleanup rather than plan approval risk. Administrative claimants have roughly one month from effectiveness to preserve payment rights, while estate professionals have a longer runway to file final compensation requests that will affect remaining liquidation proceeds.
