#How much DIP financing did a chapter 11 debtor get, and what does the order say?
ElevenFlo MCP answers from the entered order and the typed dip-financing
dataset behind it. For First Brands Group (S.D. Tex. No. 25-90399), the final
DIP order, Dkt. 608, entered November 9, 2025, authorized a $4.4 billion
facility: $1.1 billion of new money and $3.3 billion of roll-up obligations,
all stated on page 2. Those are terms of that dated order, not cash funded
today.
#Worked example
Your client runs find_cases for the debtor, search_structured_data on
dip-financing with case_id 47, then read_document_chunks on the cited
page. The dataset row links the supporting filings. Read the source page to verify
the figures; a filing link alone does not establish support for each field.
The order supplies the language:
"an aggregate principal amount of $4.4 billion"
"$1.1 billion new money term loans"
"$3.3 billion of Roll-Up Obligations"
All three passages are on page 2 of Dkt. 608 for First Brands Group, checked September 10, 2026. The $1.1 billion new-money component is not the total facility. The same page separates the $175 million available on entry of the interim order from the $325 million funded into escrow; together they form the $500 million initial draw. The dataset's controlling document for this case is now an amendment, Dkt. 3073, June 26, 2026. Read later filings before treating the November terms as current.
#Three financing orders
The cases are examples, not a matched peer group. Amounts describe authorized financing under each dated order.
| Case and final order | New money | Roll-up | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| First Brands Group, Dkt. 608, November 9, 2025 | $1.1 billion | $3.3 billion | $4.4 billion |
| Hooters of America, Dkt. 299, May 16, 2025 | Up to $35 million | $5 million | $40 million initial cap |
| Vertex Energy, Dkt. 332, October 29, 2024 | Up to $80 million | $200 million | Up to $280 million |
Hooters' order also permits a conditional increase of up to $15 million in new-money commitments, and an amended final order followed at Dkt. 1145 on October 30, 2025. Vertex's roll-up is the sum of three tranches: $37,949,226.03, $135,202,821.00 and $26,847,952.97.

#Coverage and limits
- The
dip-financingdataset held 1,626 case-level records on September 10, 2026. Each row names the controlling document, its stage and status, and a status for every material field. Anot_disclosedorunknownfield is not "none". - Amounts are order-stated commitments. They do not measure cash funded, and a later amendment or termination can change them.
- Filing text can be incomplete or still processing. Check
document_search_availablebefore quoting.
#Reproduce a dated evidence packet
Run describe_structured_dataset for dip-financing, then run
search_structured_data with this input:
{
"dataset": "dip-financing",
"where": [{"field": "case_id", "op": "eq", "value": 47}],
"select": ["case_id", "case_name", "current_docket_number", "date_filed",
"stage", "status", "completeness_status", "commitment_amount",
"commitment_status", "new_money_amount", "new_money_status",
"roll_up_amount", "roll_up_status", "source_filing_urls", "resolved_at"],
"page_size": 1
}
Keep the response snapshot with the result. date_filed dates the controlling
financing source. resolved_at dates the projection refresh. Neither establishes
cash available today. Review later docket developments separately.
A partial row can support a specific comparison after source verification.
Qualify each requested field, including its conditions and status. Preserve
confirmed_absent, not_applicable, not_disclosed and unknown separately.
A population filtered to three stated monetary fields is not a denominator
for roll-up incidence.
#Refresh a comparison in your client
Save the dated query response and verified filing/page references beside each material cell in your comparison. Keep private notes in your own workspace. Your client owns storage, scheduling and edits to the comparison.
At the next review, rerun the same query and inspect later docket entries. Compare values, field statuses, controlling document and supporting sources. A changed refresh timestamp alone does not establish a substantive change. Present affected cells with their old value, new value and evidence for review. Identify source corrections and newly discovered older filings separately from new events. An unchanged row does not prove that no later event occurred.
For the First Brands example, a September refresh still identifies a June financing amendment. Preserve the June source date in the comparison. Mark current borrowing availability as unverified until the relevant later record has been reviewed; do not replace it with the stated commitment.

#Check the result
- Confirm the exact debtor, order and date.
- Keep motions, interim orders, final orders and amendments separate.
- Check that each passage supports the amount and its meaning.
- Preserve limits and conditions. An unknown field does not mean "none."
- Review later filings before treating historical terms as current.
Use the verification checklist before relying on the output. For amounts reported after a plan takes effect, see post-confirmation reports.
