Ector County Energy Center LLC is an energy generation company that operates a 330 MW natural gas-fired peaker power plant in Ector County, Texas. The facility, which began service in 2015, provides electricity and ancillary services to the ERCOT wholesale market. The company is a joint venture held equally by Invenergy Clean Power LLC and AMPCI North America Thermal Power Acquisition LLC. Operations are managed by affiliates Invenergy Services LLC and Invenergy Services Thermal US LLC, which oversee facility maintenance and grid participation.
