Baker & Taylor, LLC is one of the oldest and largest wholesale book distributors in the United States, founded in 1828 and headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. The company served as an intermediary between publishers and public, school, and academic libraries nationwide, distributing physical books, audiovisual media, and digital content through facilities in Momence, Illinois and Commerce, Georgia. Publisher relationships included Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, HarperCollins, and Scholastic, among hundreds of others. Baker & Taylor is wholly owned by BTAC Holding Corp.
