Mobility Air, the reorganized debtor in Western Global Airlines, asked to push the claims objection bar date from June 1, 2026 to November 30, 2026, giving it roughly 180 more days to reconcile remaining claims after confirmation. The claims objection bar date extension motionDkt. 263 says the reorganized debtor has already resolved more than 190 filed or scheduled claims totaling over $40 million, but still has 137 proofs of claim to review against the schedules and books and records.
The filing matters because the case is now in post-confirmation execution rather than plan negotiation: the remaining economics turn on how quickly Mobility Air can settle or object to the residual claims pool without spending estate resources on broad claims litigation.
