Allena liquidation plan goes effective
Allena’s confirmed liquidation plan became effective on June 20, shifting the case from confirmation into implementation and making the plan binding on claim and interest holders. The Notice of Effective Date ties the milestone back to the May 18 confirmation order approving the disclosure statement on a final basis and confirming the amended liquidation plan.
The notice also starts the last practical deadline set for cleanup claims. Second administrative expense claims are due July 20, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. ET; final professional fee applications and second rejection claims are due July 11, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. ET. The filing warns that missing the applicable bar date disallows the claim for plan distribution purposes. For professionals and creditors, the case is now in the post-effective-date distribution and claims-reconciliation phase, with near-term deadlines controlling who can still participate in recoveries.
