Formerly HeartBrand Beef, Inc., the privately held company operates through wholly owned subsidiaries in beef sales, cattle, feeders, and management services, alongside the American Akaushi Association, which handles breed registration, herd reporting, genetic verification, and market development. Based in Flatonia, Texas, HeartBrand has expanded the Akaushi breed in the United States since acquiring its herd in 2006.
