Court rejects two more late crypto loss claims
The court denied Sandro Goer’s and Ken Tran’s requests to file late Crypto Loss Claims and directed Kroll to update the claims register accordingly. The denial order relies on reasons stated at the July 22 hearing rather than restating the court’s analysis.
The ruling keeps the claims process moving toward distributions without another reopening. In the Plan Administrator’s omnibus objection, the administrator reported approximately 10,741 allowed claims and initial determinations for about 80% of the claims pool, following an earlier reopening that added 660 claims. The administrator argued that neither movant met the excusable-neglect standard and that accepting additional late claims would delay final reconciliation and the commencement of distributions. Denial closes these two challenges and reinforces the court’s increasingly firm treatment of the Crypto Loss Claim deadline.
