Starion Customers to Begin Receiving Settlement Funds

If you receive a restitution check from Starion, which will say Commonwealth of Massachusetts vs. Starion Energy, Inc. on it, you should cash it. Customers who are eligible to receive restitution will be mailed a check, that says Commonwealth of Massachusetts v. Starion Energy, Inc., and will not need to fill out a claim form. Customers are eligible to receive restitution if they purchased variable rate electricity service from Starion, paid more than they would have paid their utility for basic service electricity, and did not separately seek restitution through Starion’s Delaware bankruptcy proceeding."
