The main debtor’s effectiveness was reported in May 2018; the remaining affiliate, Winn-Dixie Warehouse Leasing, followed in a May 31, 2019 effectiveness notice Dkt. 897.

Southeastern Grocers’ March 27, 2018 Chapter 11 proceeding reached plan effectiveness and subsequent case administration, culminating in a September 6, 2019 final decree Dkt. 915 closing certain Chapter 11 cases and terminating claims and noticing services.

The supermarket operator entered Chapter 11 with a prepackaged plan to reduce debt and shrink its store footprint while continuing the business. Its first-day declaration Dkt. 3 described 702 stores under the Winn-Dixie, BI-LO, Harveys, and Fresco y Más banners and plans to close approximately 100 underperforming locations.
