FLYi, Inc. is a Dulles, Virginia-based airline holding company (Nasdaq: FLYI) and the parent of Independence Air, Inc., a premier low-cost, low-fare all-jet carrier based at Washington Dulles International Airport. Launched in June 2004 as a successor to Atlantic Coast Airlines, Independence Air served approximately 45 destinations across 23 U.S. states with everyday low fares, leather seating, and all-jet aircraft on every route. FLYi's wholly owned subsidiaries include Atlantic Coast Jet, LLC, Atlantic Coast Academy, Inc., and IA Sub, Inc., all headquartered in Dulles, Virginia.
